Tri-Parish Victim's Assistance

The primary function of this program is to assist victims of violent crime by providing direct services to victims in need. Services provided to these victims include advocacy, emotional support, accompaniment to rape examinations and court proceedings, referrals to other agencies for assistance, and current information regarding case status.

 
 
 

 

Domestic Violence Program

This specialized prosecution unit is comprised of a team of specialized staff whose duties are to prosecute cases involving crimes of domestic violence against women. The domestic violence prosecution team has been specifically trained regarding the unique issues concerning these victims and the direct services they so justly deserve.

 

 

 

 

Rape Crisis Program

Our rape crisis program provides sexual assault prevention and crisis intervention services within our judicial district. In addition to providing community education regarding the issues of rape, our program provides support and direct services to those who have been victimized by this serious crime in the form of escorts to the hospital for examination, access to our 24-hour rape crisis hotline, and emotional support throughout the criminal justice process.
