LIVINGSTON---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 8, 2009, before Judge Elizabeth Wolfe, and either pled guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated related offenses and received the following sentences:
Michael Arrington, Baton Rouge, LA, age 37 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $400.00 plus court costs.
Daniel J. Breaux, Livingston, LA, age 22 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $550.00 plus court costs.
Mark Burke, Hammond, LA, age 26 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $450.00 plus court costs.
Deshane Chandler, Denham Springs, LA, age 21 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (controlled dangerous substance) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail.
Penny Connelly, Walker, LA, age 52 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and DWI (controlled dangerous substance) and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail on the DWI (1st offense) and six (6) months in parish jail on the DWI (controlled dangerous substance) with sentences to be served consecutively. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $1,000.00 plus court costs.
Richard Davis, Denham Springs, LA, age 54 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail. Winston Durnin, Denham Springs, LA, age 48 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (2nd offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Defendant given credit for time served in jail and balance of jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on probation to run current with felony conviction and was ordered to pay a fine of $350.00 plus court costs.
Brandon Hawkins, Denham Springs, LA, age 25 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Karl Michels, Denham Springs, LA, age 36 - Found guilty of DWI (1st offense) and speeding and was sentenced to serve fifteen (15) days in parish jail on the offense of DWI and one (1) day in parish jail on the offense of speeding.
Alice Posey, Denham Springs, LA, age 47 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (2nd offense - controlled dangerous substance) and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail.
Kimberly Rabalais, Zachary, LA, age 41- Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $700.00 plus court costs.
Kama Watkins, Walker, LA, age 36 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (controlled dangerous substance) and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Robert Womack, Denham Springs, LA, age 31 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphanelia and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail on the offense of DWI and possession of marijuana and two (2) days in parish jail on the offense of possession of drug paraphanelia with sentences to be served concurrently. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $550.00 plus court costs.

Chadwick Bryant, Tylertown, MS, age 31 - Pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphanelia and was sentenced to serve two (2) days in parish jail.
Elizabeth Johnson, Denham Springs, LA, age 23 - Pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and was ordered to pay court costs and pay $100.00 DARE fee.
Jason Struppeck, Walker, LA, age 27 - Pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphanelia and was sentenced to serve ten (10) days in parish jail on the offense of possession of marijuana and two (2) days in parish jail on the offense of possession of drug paraphanelia. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and ordered to pay court costs and pay $100.00 DARE fee.
