Perrilloux: Ricks sentences cases in Livingston

LIVINGSTON---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on September 10, 2009, before Judge Brenda Bedsole Ricks, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:

Andrew Greenwood, Denham Springs, LA, age 19 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (underage) and theft and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail on the offense of theft. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs on the DWI and make restitution.

The following individuals appeared and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of narcotic related offenses and received the following sentences:

Robert Leonard, Humble, TX, age 49 - Pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics and was sentenced to serve seven (7) years in the Department of Corrections.

Delous Williams, Walker, LA, age 19 - Pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs and pay $100.00 DARE fee.

The following individuals appeared and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of crimes against persons/property and received the following sentences:

Kenneth Beck, Denham Springs, LA, age 50 - Pleaded no contest to trespassing and simple criminal damage to property and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs and make restitution.

Deborah Kritzman, Denham Springs, LA, age 30 - Convicted of public intimidation was present in court for sentencing and was sentenced to serve one (1) year in the Department of Corrections.

Deborah Kritzman, Denham Springs, LA, age 30 - Pleaded guilty to careless operation, open container in motor vehicle and no drivers license and was sentenced to serve three (3) months in parish jail on each count with sentences to be served concurrently.

Luis Valles, Denham Springs, LA, age 22 - Pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States and was sentenced to serve one (1) year in the Department of Corrections. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for one year and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000.00 plus court costs.
