LIVINGSTON---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on October 28, 2009 before Judge Robert Morrison, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:
Joseph M. Johnston, age 36 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $616.50.
The following individuals appeared and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of narcotic related offenses and received the following sentences:
Devin L. Rebstock, age 40 - Pleaded guilty to possession of Schedule I narcotics and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs.
