AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on November 16, 2009, before Judge Ray Chutz, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:

Justin Franklin, Denham Springs, LA, age 22 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1^st offense). Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $615.00 plus court costs.

Benjamin Hammond, Hammond, LA, age 34 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1^st offense).
