Perrilloux: Drake sentences DWI cases in Amite

AMITE---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on January 11, 2010, before Judge Ernest Drake, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:

Ryan Ralses, LaPlace, LA, age 20 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (underage) and was placed on bench probation for two years and ordered to pay court costs and complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program.

Timothy Chain, Kentwood, LA, age 24 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $600.00 plus court costs.

Tara Czoch, Loranger, LA, age 32 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $450.00 plus court costs.

Farrah Foy, Ponchatoula, LA, age 22 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on active probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $350.00 plus court costs.

Leroy Jackson, Independence, LA, age 62 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (2nd offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Defendant to serve 48 hours in parish jail and balance of jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 240 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, install an ignition interlock device on vehicle, and pay court costs.

Matthew Lee, Greensburg, LA, age 25 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $900.00 plus court costs.

Jeremy Lopez, Albany, LA, age 27 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $1,000.00 plus court costs and suspended payment of fine.

Aaron McCray, Mandeville, LA, age 19 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $550.00 plus court costs.

Robbie Nuccio, Holden, LA, age 49 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $700.00 plus court costs.

Cody Reid, Springfield, LA, age 22 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $300.00 plus court costs.

Bernado Gomez Rodriguez, Ponchatoula, LA, age 31 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $550.00 plus court costs.

Kenneth Stafford, Amite, LA, age 39 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $550.00 plus court costs.

Hector Velasquez, Robert, LA, age 34 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $300.00 plus court costs.

Bunion Wilkerson, Tangipahoa, LA, age 54 - Pleaded guilty to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay a fine of $1,000.00 plus court costs.
