LIVINGSTON---District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on January 12, 2010, before Judge Robert Morrison, either pled guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated related offenses and received the following sentences:
Anthony Jay Braud, Denham Springs, LA, age 24 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Defendant to serve 48 hours in parish jail and balance of jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $714.50.
Matthew Corkern, Denham Springs, LA, age 20 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and defendant was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Defendant given credit for six days served in parish jail and imposition of balance of sentence was deferred and the defendant placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $614.50.
Alisha A. Edwards, Livingston, LA, age 23 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $714.50.
Michael Gatlin, Albany, LA, age 51 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (controlled dangerous substance) and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Defendant to serve four days in parish jail and balance of jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $614.50.
Michelle Wilson, Baton Rouge, LA, age 38 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victims impact panel, and pay fine and court costs of $614.50.

Brandon Crayton, Holden, LA, age 38 - Pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphanelia and obstruction of public passageway and was sentenced to serve thirty (30) days in parish jail on each offense with sentences to be served concurrently. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for one year and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs.
Justin Scott, Denham Springs, LA, age 26 - Pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to serve ninety (90) days in parish jail. Imposition of sentence was deferred and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years and ordered to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs.
Jonathan Weaver, Denham Springs, LA, age 19 - Pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and hit and run and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail on each offense with sentences to be served concurrently.
