Meet Scott Perrilloux

Hammond native Scott Perrilloux is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and Loyola University School of Law. Now serving his fifth term of office, Perrilloux has been District Attorney for the Twenty First Judicial District since his first election in 1996. Throughout this time, his office has consistently maintained a 90% or higher criminal conviction rate. Before becoming District Attorney, Perrilloux already had an extensive legal career in the community. He has served as City Prosecutor for the City Court of Hammond, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Hammond, Assistant District Attorney of the Twenty First Judicial District, and Judge Pro Tempore for the City Court of Hammond. Perrilloux is a member of the National District Attorneys Association and the Louisiana District Attorneys Association. He has been a member of the Louisiana District Attorneys Association’s Board of Directors, serving as President for the 2005-2006 term.
